Summer is slowly passing by and it’s time to sum up our impressions! Both, educating our interns as well as Funtastic events, made our summer more diversified than ever before. We know that our interns really love interesting and challenging tasks. So we challenged them and we both succeeded. Here is a small part of the feedback we have received:
Katrin S. is one of our current interns in Linz and part of the Hyperloop team. She describes her internship as follows:
“I heard about Catalysts from my colleagues at the Uni. So far I really like the whole experience! I had the possibility to work on many interesting tasks in diverse projects. All my teammates are supportive and from the start I felt like being an important part of the team. One of Catalysts’ most well-known projects is the one for Hyperloop. We started with a data visualisation for the project, and it is as interesting as it sounds! I think that the fact, that I will continue working for Catalysts shows how much I like being a part of this awesome company! 🙂”
Andrei P. had his internship in Cluj, and here are his impressions:
“As the days passed by, I’ve started to realise that working at Catalysts wasn’t just a routine. It was a challenge which brought something new every day. That made the working hours fly by. I have to admit that sometimes it was hard to go home because I got into the work and I was enjoying it.”
For us it is important to stay in touch with all our interns. Therefore we developed an Ambassador Program. Supporting our interns doesn’t stop when their internship is over. We happily support them with activities at their university as well as with personal challenges they want to achieve. Many have to be challenged properly, as excellent developers are looking for challenges in their lives. We are very proud of our former intern Florian Leingruber, who won this year bronze at the 28th International Olympiad for informatics. Great job, Florian!
In order to keep the positive working atmosphere we had many, many Funtastic events: Wakeboarding, Lasertag, a Summer party at Segelflughafen and actually flying with gliders, beach volleyball, whole weekend activities outside the city, Ultimate frisbee, game nights (Dungeons and Dragons were one of the favorites), team dinners/breakfasts, room escape etc. Moreover, let the pictures speak for themselves!
Last but not least, we would like to thank all our interns for one more great summer and for their feedback! This really means a lot to us. We enjoyed it as much as you did!
Since we have the intention to grow even more, if you see yourself as a future team member, don’t hesitate and apply here!
