Presentation: HPC for Remote Sensing Applications

PRACE Spring School 2014 will take place from 15.–17. April 2014 at Schloss Hagenberg in Austria.

The PRACE Seasonal School event is being hosted and coordinated jointly by the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation / Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria), IT4Innovations / VSB-Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and PRACE.

The three day program includes:

15. April 2014  HPC for Industry

On 15. April 2014 the HPC for Industry track is focussing on bringing together researchers and attendees from industry and academia to discuss the variety of applications of HPC in Europe.

The presentation “HPC for Remote Sensing Applications” will start at 1:45 pm, held by Wolfgang Planer (Catalysts).

16.–17. April Software Engineering for Parallel & Emerging Computing Architectures

Followed by the HPC track the PRACE SPRING School 2014 offers a two day focus on software engineering for parallel & emerging computing architectures. This track promises to provide deep insight into solving multiphysical problems with Elmer on large-scale HPC resources with lecturers from industry and PRACE members.
